Pori, Finland, Kirjurinluoto - Sonicsphere Festival
We came to see you in Pori Sonishere festival. You played fine, you sound fine! We have been waiting so long to see you. Hope see you soon again! You didn't have to excuse!

It was short and amazing! The band was in a good mood, Ian smiling, talking a lot between the songs. Among other things, he was saying how Billy and him grew up listening to punk rock, how it's good to have Alice in Chains back and how William DuVall's task is not easy but he does it well, how "good it is to be able to listen beautiful AiC music again", how the stage is too big for The Cult (they played at the main stage), mentioning Turbonegro.. AiC played after The Cult and then Jerry Cantrell said they were checking out Cult's gig -> "one of the best rock bands EVER" he said. Chris, John and Mike were standing on the side of the stage checking out Alice in Chains. So both were checking out both, nice.

The new song "Everyman and Woman is a Star" was also played live, it sounded AMAZING, powerful, energetic. Chris did some really nice backing vocals on the "weight of the world keeps us all down" part. Billy's guitar much stronger than in the studio version.

The setlist was short as it was a festival gig. But very nice performance, the audience liked it (crazy Finns..)!

Thank you The Cult MMX for the amazing and once again perfect performance!!
