Welcome to the new and improved Cult Central. This site chronicles the past, present and future of the Cult and related projects. The Cult is Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy. For 2006 they've added a couple new members to go out on tour with but Ian & Billy will always be a part of the band. As always, we're interested in contributions including stories, reviews, news, pictures, artwork, and anything else that may be on your mind. After a whirlwind of touring over the past year, the Cult look forward to a bit of a break. There are no current plans for the summer of 2008, but the band are currently booking dates for the fall of 2008, including a few shows in the Eastern US followed by one show in Argentina. The plan is also to have new music in 2009.
Billy has been taking to the stage here and there in the LA area. He's also been spotted at Sex Pistols gigs and Camp Freddy gigs. I notice that Mike Dimkich and Chris Wyse have also been doing shows with their bands (The Looters & Owl).
Please feel free to continue to send in reviews of the shows this year (and previous years for that matter), it's great to have that information on the site for everybody to read.

As always, feel free to send in your reviews from the shows. I've got reviews from most, but not all of the shows and always welcome more. It's great to hear about the show from all the different perspectives.
