After being a fan of the band since the 80's, I was able to see my first live Cult show at Thursday at the Harbor in downtown Buffalo. When the sounds of Lil Devil came through the air to open the show, the hair on my arms stood on end and I knew the long wait was over. There in front of me was the awesome band I had wanted to see for a long time. Even though I think the band was a little annoyed by the crowd response, they have to realize these outdoor events in Buffalo are more of a social get together than a true concert. Certainly there are the true fans of the band who came to see the band,but sixty percent of the huge crowd probably had never even heard of the band. For the true loyalists, the show was a damn killer. Most of the younger crowd could have cared less who was playing. Wildflower was the highlight of the night for me. What I heard of the new album, I will be going to the Apple store and downloading it today.
