Fortunately they were all met!
There was no opening act.The Cult arrived on stage at 22.10.
The first song played was Rain! What an opener! The crowd was wild on this one!
The Cult picked an almost best of setlist for this part of the tour.Everything we wanted to listen was here...
Fire Woman, Love Removal, Nirvana, Sanctuary, Wild Flower, Spiritwalker, Horse Nation, Lil Devil. Even the little less known songs were great picks ... Phoenix (what a surprise!), Saints are down, Embers (amazing song), Rise (now almost a classic).
The band's performance was solid.Ian was in a great moud with lots of interaction with the crowd. His aged voice was the starting point for alla the times the crowd went wild. Duffy's performance was also excellent even though he was pissed during the show because of some console issues (during Horse Nation we missed his playing for half the song). He is an amazing guitar player.
They promised they would visit again after the new album (October ? ).
After almost 100minutes they left the stage (after the Doors classic break on through) with me being very happy.
The venue was small (1300 people) but it was full.
The crowd wasn't warm all the time but i don't think anyone left unhappy.
The Cult , thank you for your amazing show, please come back soon!
