The Cult - Town Ballroom, Oct 29/2010
Buffalo, New York, Town Ballroom
Opening Band: Black Ryder
This was the twentieth time I saw The Cult live and the second at this venue. The crowd was slightly smaller than the last time I was there but I would have to say made up for it in energy. It was good to see the boys in a very positive state of mind. The whole show was completed without any mishaps or negative comments by the crowd or band.

Ian stated that they have a big tour of Canada planned for May 2011 which is good to hear. It was great to hear the new tunes and a few others that I haven't heard live in quite sometime. Embers is excellent (can't wait for Capsule 2)and EMAWIAS sounds much better live.

Hearing White again makes me wonder why Ceremony was so maligned in the day. I remember them opening with it on New Year's Eve 1991 and it is still a great anthem.

My advice is to get out and see the band wherever you can. They seem to be at a great place right now and really enjoying the music and their fans.
