Unfortunately there are some seriously tight-arsed people in Sydney who struggle to let loose the beast within, and I think Ian might have taken it a little personally. Trust me - I went to an AC/DC gig and the dancefloor was more of a standfloor - and that gig rocked out too! It is just the way of some Sydneysider.....they don't want to ruin their cool image by looking like they are having fun!!
My only comment would be that as there was an hour between the warm-up band (The Black Ryder) and The Cult, the crowd may have gotten a little impatient, so took a little while for them to get into it. I know my feet were hurting by that stage, but it didn't stop me from moshing out!
Why has The Cult waited soooooo long to come back down under and play - I cannot wait for the new music to come out and hopefully to see another live gig!
