Setlist was the same as the recent dates. Tropical Storm kept the crowd numbers down, but they rocked the house anyway. Ian hung on the mic stand all night and appeared in a good mood, if not a little altered. Threw out a few tamborines. Billy was pissed all night due to tech difficulties. Great show though! It was an early show at 8 that ended at 10 because the club wanted to keep the saturday night dance party afterwards. Ian left the stage with "Stick around for disco!".

Just saw The Cult for the 8th time in Providence. AS ALWAYS they were on top of their game. They opened with Nirvana which is one of their best songs to open with. Horse Nation and Spritwalker sounded awesome as they played them back to back. They played 4 songs from Born Into This ( I Assassin, Illuminated, Savages and Dirty Little Rock Star ). The cult really appreciated the Crowds response---- as the crowd was really into the show last nite and we let The Cult know it. Hopefully we will get to see them again in 2009. BTW---- Just wanted to thank you ( Jon Taylor ) for keeping this website going and always letting us the know the updated info for The Cult.
