Columbus, Ohio, Newport Music Hall
Headlining, opening bands: The Clicks, Semisextile
Thanks to John, I was able to make the Columbus show as well. The same set list, with
the only exception being they flipped "Dirty Little Rockstar" and "Wild Flower",
although I think that was a mistake (based on seeing the actual setlist after the
show). Ian started out by saying "This is our new single", to which Billy played the
opening to "Wild Flower"...Ian looked at the crowd and shrugged his shoulders.
At this show, the balcony was reserved for the folks with Jager lams, although having a
Cult / Jager VIP sticker pass, I was able to join the "fun" in the balcony. Not much
really going on in the balcony, other than I was able to get a killer view from right
above Chris for the show. After the show, the band came out in about 20 minutes. They
did the signing and photos for the Jager folks. After the M&G, I decided to get my CD
book signed and Ian was kind enough to pose for a picture.
Also, no FYE at this show, but they were selling the regular version of the CD for $15.
I woulda bought the kick ass hoodie if I hadn't spent a couple hundred bucks over the
course of the two shows...
